about
This song was written in the fall of 2005 just after Wilson was born. We were gearing up for string of Christmas shows up North (IN, IL, MI & Canada) in the snow. We love Christmas & that time of year, getting together with friends or staying home with a loved one and watching a movie with a nice fire and a glass of wine. We tried to capture that in this song.
lyrics
I'll be coming home
And I only want your love this year
Oh I have missed you so
All the leaves are gone
And the snow is here
It's the time of year no one wants to be alone
So the best present I could ever get
Is to be there in your arms
This Christmas
Put the lights up and hang the mistletoe
'Cause I'm coming home
This Christmas
Ring the bells and let the whole world know
That I love you
Oh This Christmas
Time is moving on
But these memories will be always here
We'll sing our favorite songs
And let all our worries dissapear
So the faster that I can get to you the better
I'll look in your eyes on a winters night
While the fire keeps us warm
This Christmas
Put the lights up and hang the mistletoe
'Cause I'm coming home
This Christmas
Ring the bells and let the whole world know
That I love you
Oh This Christmas
