Dreaming of a far away land Here in the middle of winter There’s a north wind blowing but it doesnt’ feel the same Missing my home I’ve been here too long I have to stay a little longer so just hold me close Hold me close and let me dream Let the fire burn just you and me The leaves don’t change here But the time passes by And I’ll be okay if I know your with me Saturday’s come and gone And we’re not getting any younger This time that I had thought was getting closer Just seems so far away Missing my home I’ve been here too long I have to stay a little longer so just hold me close (chorus) Have we forgotton how I looked away this time I wonder thinking about it How you came and stood that way And I told you (chorus)

Yesterday, we went away on a journey That took us out east Traveling with this world as a playground We’re young and we’re free These are the days when you hold me in your arms Finding those words that make my heart melt And say that you love me before the sun goes down. Yesterday, we went away on a journey That took us up north Following all the dreams that we spoke of Is there anymore? These are the days when you hold me in your arms Finding those words that make my heart melt And say that you love me before the sun goes down. We’ll never know where tomorrow will take us but that’s fine with me ‘cause today I have all that I ever wanted here with me These are the days when you hold me in your arms Finding those words that make my heart melt And say that you love me before the sun goes down.

There’s a special feeling that you get As you arrive along the foothills There’s a sense of pride among the people in this mystic mountain town You can hear the music play on the front porch of western civilization It is carried by the eagle who dances with the earth Black Mountain beauty Blue Ocean sing to my soul Black Mountain beauty Blue Ocean sing to my soul There’s a feel of awe and wonder That is found along the ocean There’s no sense of time beneath the stars As you watch the tide roll in You can hear the songs of old that were written by our heritage It is carried by the waves that speak peacefulness to the soul Black Mountain beauty Blue Ocean sing to my soul Black Mountain beauty Blue Ocean sing to my soul

Blue Skies 06:56
The sun sets upon this beautiful lake I’m amazed how fast it falls There’s another day that’s come and gone And another day I’ve lost In the sadness of my memory In the waves upon the water I’ve realized that life’s too short To be consumed by these negative thoughts So blue skies come find me Come free me from societal eyes Blue skies come find me I’ll be right here The night is getting quiet And my eyes a little red This road that I am travelling on It’s too dark to look ahead When I look out all around me I see tiny lights of hope And these heavy weights upon my eyes Makes it hard to see very clear So blue skies come find me Come free me from societal eyes Blue skies come find me I’ll be right here So I’ll sit and let this peaceful night consume me And let the salty water wash away my pain In hopes that tomorrow when I wake up I’ll be a better person Tomorrow when I wake up, I’ll be changed

You Never 05:15
You never stopped and thought about it You never realized just how that knife felt So was I supposed to run that day With him in my heart And now I’m standing here and I have hated you long enough I would walk a thousand miles to feel for you So I swallow all the pride I have and feel for you You never said one word about it And so I’m asking why pretend like nothing happened And was I suppose to run that day with him in my heart Now I’m standing here and I’ve hated you long enough I would walk a thousand miles to feel for you So I swallow all the pride I have and feel for you

Driving down the 401 this cold Sunday morning I’m headed back but I’ll be back home again A picture’s in my mind A few good friends and a bottle of wine And as the snow falls down I wish I didn’t have to leave Well the snow has turned to rain As we cross the Mississippi I already miss the smell of the air in Ontario When we get back to this place it’s back to the old rat race and we’ll play to get some change in our hands And the sun keeps shining on me Wherever I am It keeps shining on me Well it’s now Monday morning and we’re still driving We’ve only got a few more hours to go So I close my eyes for awhile and think about my life And thank God for how far I have come And the sun keeps shining on me Wherever I am It keeps shining on me

My Innocence 05:01
Come into my world she said Where I am queen and you can be king I like to go to this place she said ‘cause there I am safe She opens the door to her closet And her imagination runs wild No one else has been here before she said Would you like to come inside Pour me out of my innocence Pour me down once again Help me believe in this fairytale Or make me forget There’s a castle outside her bedroom walls With everything a little girl would love It embraces the thoughts of a better life Where she’ll never be alone And as she gets a little tired She comes back to her place on the floor But she’ll be back here in while Where she wears this beautiful crown And I know that it sits all around me I can see it in the eyes of a child I’m amazed to have not let go And it’s easy to see why

Barren Land 05:51
Somewhere across this long highway Destined for another town With Vega on the radio singing, “my name is Luca,” I look out the window and see nothing but a Barren Land I wonder what the people are like In these small towns that I’m traveling through I’m sure they’ve got their means of happiness But as I look out the window I see nothing but a Barren Land And so many thoughts So many songs The day goes by And we keep moving on This place looks so familiar It takes my mind away Little bugs hit my window and take me back And all too quickly I find I’m still in this barren land

Dreams 05:34
There’s a young girl who is sitting by the window As she stares out with a blank expression on her face You can see she’s in far away places This is the place where she likes to come and think Her body’s frail but you can see that she is strong She curls her long brown hair around her finger You’d never believe the dreams that she is holding But you can see in her eye’s it’s not that far And her Dreams will never die As long as she’s alive In the quiet of her soul she’ll keep holding on She may be a little bruised but that’s okay Her motivation may even come from that And so she’ll paint on a brave face and lift her head up Look within herself and reach for her strength

Facade 04:57
What am I doing in this facade Why should I have to pretend I’m tired of living by some other standard Than what I feel from within ‘Cause there is too many games that I’ve played I’ve cheated and played fair but it’s still the same I’ve gone round and round and round so many times So I drop the cards and I lay them down I’m so confused by all that I know But it is really nothing I’ve played my part and now the show is over Now I can be myself Let’s live and let live, let’s love and be loved by him Let’s fill our hearts with the God given gift
